Have any questions?

How do I enter?

To enter the Prize Draw, an Eligible Entrant must hold a Ubank Bills account (individual and/or Shared with another Eligible Entrant) at the end of the Competition Period.

Incomplete or illegible entries including restricted accounts will be deemed invalid, as will any entries that are reasonably considered by the Promoter to include content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.

Who’s eligible to enter?

To enter the Competition, you must be:

  • 16 years old or older;
  • an Australian citizen or permanent resident with an Australian residential address; and
  • not be an Ineligible Entrant as set out below.

Who is not eligible to enter?

The following people are not eligible to enter:

  • Employees and contractors of the agencies or companies associated with the competition.
  • Employees and contractors of the Promoter and any affiliated entities.

Are all states eligible to enter?

Yes, the competition is open to entrants from any state or territory.

What are the maximum number of entries I can have?

One per individual Bills account.

Where an Eligible Entrant also holds a Shared Bills account with another Eligible Entrant, they will also receive one joint entry in relation to each such account.

When will the competition run?

The competition starts on 1 November 2024 at 12:01 am (Sydney) time and ends on 5 January 2025 at 11:59pm (Sydney) time.

When will the draw take place?

  • Place: Ubank, 2 Carrington St, Sydney, NSW 2000
  • Date: 06 January 2025
  • Time: 10am (Sydney time)

How will the draw take place?

Winners will be selected at random using a random electronic draw system.

The first Eligible Entrant (or Eligible Entrants where the entry is a joint entry) selected will win one (1) Prize.

The second Eligible Entrant (or Eligible Entrants where the entry is a joint entry) selected will also win one (1) Prize.

What are the details of each prize?

There are two Prizes to be won.

Each Prize is $10,000 which will be paid by electronic funds transfer (EFT) into the Ubank Bills account that the winning entry is associated with within one (1) week of:

  • the Winner/s meeting any conditions for claiming the Prize as set out below, or if no such conditions apply, within one (1) week of the Winner/s being first notified that they have won.

If Ubank cannot make this payment as contemplated as a result of the relevant l Bills account no longer being open, the Winner will be taken to have forfeited the Prize.

For the avoidance of doubt, where the winning entry is a joint entry (related to a Shared Bills account), the Prize will be paid into the Shared account and shared by both Shared account holders.

The total prize pool is valued at $20,000 (incl GST).

How and when will the winners be notified?

Winners will be notified on 28/1/2025 by phone and email.

Will the winners be published somewhere?

Yes. Winners will be published on ubank.com.au no later than 28/2/2025.

Are there any special conditions?

If the Winner (or a joint winner) is under 18 years of age, for the Prize to be claimed, that Winner must provide acceptable evidence to the Promoter, within two (2) weeks for first being notified that they have won, that their parent/guardian consents to them claiming their Prize. If they do not provide this within the specified timeframe, they will be taken to have forfeited their Prize.

What happens with any unclaimed prizes?

They will be redrawn at Ubank, 2 Carrington St, Sydney, NSW 2000 on March 21st 2025 at 10am.

If a Winner is selected via an Unclaimed Draw they will be notified on 28/3/2025 by phone and email, and their details will be published on ubank.com.au no later than 28/4/2025.

Is there a fee to enter the competition?

No, there is no entry fee or costs associated with claiming the Prize.

Will there be information collected from entrants?

Any personal information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter and its related entities solely for the purpose of running and administering the competition.

Information about the Promoter’s personal information handling practices and about how to make a privacy-related enquiry or complaint is set out in the Ubank privacy policy (available at www.ubank.com.au/privacy and on request).

Offer terms and conditions

Effective <wiselist-start-date>

The “<wiselist-code> bonus offer” is available to new customers who open an account using the eligible code <wiselist-code> between <wiselist-start-date> and <wiselist-end-date>, and who make 5 eligible purchases using their ubank debit card (including digital wallets) within 30 days of opening an account.

The offer is limited to one bonus payment per customer. Customers who were previously a ubank customer and closed their accounts within the past 12 months are not eligible for this offer.

The <wiselist-code> bonus offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer (unless we determine otherwise).

Only settled card purchases are eligible to meet the bonus criteria. This means we must wait until each card payment has been settled (no longer showing as “pending” in your transaction history) before you become eligible for the bonus payment. Each card purchase and transaction settlement must occur within 30 days of opening an account.

Eligible customers will receive a payment of <wiselist-amount> into their Spend account within a few days of fulfilling the bonus criteria.

There are always a few people who will try to game the system, so here are some fair play conditions.

We retain the absolute right to refuse to pay or cancel a “<wiselist-code> Bonus” payment without notice to you. The reasons for us to refuse or cancel a payment may include, but are not limited to, if:

  • we believe that you or your friend’s access to the ubank app is or may be fraudulent
  • we believe that you or your friend have threatened the security of ubank
  • we believe that you or your friend have breached any of our General Terms
  • we believe that you or your friend are acting in bad faith
  • we have locked or closed you or your friend’s account
  • you or your friend’s account contains unpaid charges or is overdrawn

We also retain the absolute right to stop the offer at any time and to change the conditions or incentive of the offer.
